For the best Christmas snack or appetizer, try this delightful nut blend that works wonderfully with pecans or walnuts. Use 3/4 cup of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of sea salt, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, 1 egg white, 4 cups of your preferred nuts, and 4 teaspoons of your favorite spice. Preheat your oven to 300°F. Start by mixing all the dry ingredients in one bowl and set that aside. In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients. Add all the nuts to the wet mixture, either in the bowl or a large resealable bag, and mix thoroughly until every nut is completely coated. Then, add the dry ingredients to the nuts and mix gently until all are evenly covered. Spread the nuts out on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even cooking, until the coating dries and the nuts are perfectly crisp.
